Poplar Estates was one of the first subdivisions to be built when the growth push from East Memphis reached Germantown. It was built in several stages beginning in the late 60’s and continuing through the 80’s. There are over 400 home in the subdivision making it the largest in Area 1 and therefore the name chosen for Area 1. Prices range from the $250k-$400k. Major street is Poplar Estates Parkway
